Understanding the need to search for new solutions in the implementation of ecological education, the Polish Electromobility Association offers electromobility educational film for primary schools to all interested parties. The project was implemented with the support of sponsors: NISSAN, Gobikes.pl, e-goo, PRE Edward Biel, IEN Energy, TT Proenergy, Green Energy, Elocity and Biopower.
Ecological education as "the concept of education and upbringing the society in a spirit of respect for the natural environment in accordance with the slogan: think globally - act locally" is so extremely important, the future of our planet depends largely on the behavior of the youngest citizens. We face the need to change our communication habits and shape a new "culture of mobility".
The aim of the project is to support schools and teachers in building ecological awareness and personal responsibility for the environment among children and young people as new aware consumers. In a few years they will be faced with the dilemma of how to move and new eco-mobility will be a natural choice for them. At the same time, we engage teachers, schools and students to become educators themselves, for which we will gladly award schools with the certificate of "electromobility-friendly school".
"This several minutes of material raises issues related to pollution from transport, shows how small everyday gestures and choices can affect better air quality in our environment, and also importantly how children can become educators of their parents. We also wanted to emphasize the role of the schools themselves in the process of implementing solutions for cleaner air in school areas, as well as to show them how to initiate the students' right attitude towards contemporary climate challenges in the field of mobility, "explains Anna Różańska, Director of the Polish Electromobility Association.
Therefore, we invite you to use our film as well as sample lesson plans in your own schools and classrooms, as well as create your own educational initiatives based on them. Each scenario sent to us (to the e-mail address biuro@psem.pl) will be placed on our website www.psem.pl along with the author's name and school number.
We hope that the concept of electromobility lesson we propose will prove useful in the work of teachers and will become an inspiration to take action for clean air in accordance with the words of Florian Plita: We have only one Earth, and its future depends on everyone, seemingly small human action depends on each of us.
