On Thursday, at the Warsaw School of Economics, an expert seminar took place. "How to defend energy independence?". The seminar was attended by the representative of PSEM, Dr. Sebastian Kawczyński, who presented the following theses:

- it is necessary to enter the development of electromobility in the pro-ecological trend in the scope of supplying electric vehicles with RES.

- legal regulations should create conditions for the production and resale of energy locally.

- the potential of a biogas plant, the most stable RES, is still undervalued by the support system.

- it is crucial to support technological and business solutions that can provide economies of scale and are uniquely pro-ecological, such as the conversion of combustion cars to electrical ones, carried out on an industrial scale.

Poland has the potential of renewable energy sources that can contribute to both reducing emissions and increasing the level of energy independence. However, without a stable support system, it will be difficult to achieve rapid development in this field.
