Opening of the International Centre of Excellence on the use of methane from the coal mines on the 8th of June in Katowice, Poland.

International Centre of Excellence on the use of methane from the coal mines (ICE-CMM) is the first centre of its kind in the world. The institution will perform its activities non -profit, under the auspices of the UNO European Economical Commission (UNECE). It is aimed at the development of methane recovery technologies from the coal mines and the limitation of emission.
